No. AMU conducts its own separate institutional entrance test for admission to the 5-Year Integrated B.A. LL.B. programme. CLAT scores are not accepted.
A total of 240 seats are filled through a single combined admission test. 120 seats are located at the Aligarh main campus, 60 at the Malappuram Center (Kerala), and 60 at the Murshidabad Center (West Bengal). All centers adhere to the 50% internal and 50% external reservation formula.
Each correct answer carries +1 mark, while each incorrect answer attracts a negative marking deduction of 0.25 marks (-0.25).
External candidates usually need a score of 70 to 78 marks out of 100 to guarantee a confirmed seat in the Aligarh main campus faculty of law.
